Why do we need to flood the market and landfill with clothes that have a short lifespan whether by virtue of their poor quality or their ‘in-with-the-new-out-with-the-old’ status symbol? Seriously, what’s wrong with clothes that have lasted the test of time and hold sentimental value?
I am advocating for a NEW FASHION MOVEMENT, one that inspires women to have their very own dressmaker or couturiere to make their clothes – clothes that can be customised to the wearer and made to last the test of time.
