I love flowers. They are a source of inspiration for my work, especially my hand embroidery and ribbon work designs. I feel fortunate living in Brisbane Australia as the climate here is ideal for growing exotic flowers like frangipani and hibiscus flowers. My favourites are the double flowered hibiscus blooms – they look like ruffles of chiffon. I love them!
